Waste and decommissioning
The WENRA Working Group on Waste and Decommissioning (WGWD) is revising its two reports in version 0 that were published on this website in January 2006:
Waste and Spent Fuel Storage Safety, Reference Levels Report,
Decommissioning Safety, Reference Levels Report.
Several reference levels are being revised as well as the structure of the reference levels. WENRA will discuss these changes at a meeting in March 2007. The first version of the reports will be removed from this website. WGWD has also made preparations for benchmarking on the revised reference levels and development of National Action Plans. These activities are planned to be finalised in 2008.
At the recent WENRA meeting there was also a shift of chairperson. Mrs. Judith Melin handed over to Mrs. Dana Drábová. This is effective from 10 November 2006.
