Revised reference levels

WENRA members have now decided on a revision of the reference levels as a result of comments by stakeholders on the report published in January 2006: Harmonisation of Reactor Safety in WENRA countries. The revised list of reference levels, marked January 2007, can be downloaded under published in the main menu.

The WENRA Reactor Harmonisation Working Group (RHWG) continues to work on some issues which were raised in the consultation with stakeholders. These include WENRA policy papers on PSA and Fire Protection and a Glossary with definitions of terms used in the reference levels. The RHWG will also continue to follow the development of the IAEA Safety Standards and assess whether amendments to the reference levels are justified.
