WENRA publishes a new revision of the reference levels applicable to reactor safety. To take into account the latest concepts related to Management Systems, as described in a Safety Requirements document issued by the IAEA in 2006 (GS-R-3), WENRA members have asked the Reactor Safety Harmonization Working Group (RHWG) to propose a revised set of reference levels regarding issue C - "Management System". The January 2008 revision of the reference levels applicable to reactor safety reflects this work as well as the commitment of WENRA to revise the reference levels when new knowledge and experience are available.
